Bear Country
Hi everyone sorry for the delay in updating the blog, but there was no service in Yellowstone.

Before we left SD we went to and Wildlife Safari drive in a a place called Bear Country and is was very cool and the elk started to run right at us as we pulled in and it was a little scary. There were also wolves just walking around the vehicles with there cubs and there was a very large collection of bears, that Nick would not let me put my window down to take pictures and so I did anyways...(he forgot that he could lock my window... hee hee)

The night before we also saw the Flying T Wranglers which was a supper and show, which was ok...we did not know any of the county songs, but still enjoyed ourselves.

We spent three nights and four days in Yellowstone and it was completely beautiful and plenty of wildlife right on the street. For the first 30 minutes in we had to stop for a herd of Buffalo that were on the side on the road and some were actually crossing right in front of us (Nick turned into a little

kid). They were beautiful and huge, they also made the strangest sounds and there poop was very big so you had to watch everywhere you stepped. We also saw lots of deer and some horn sheep that Nick bumped into on his 6 mile hike up a mountain in 50 mph wind alone....Kim sat in the car and read a book 😊 We also pulled over and saw a small Black bear with binoculars, but was still exciting.

Another day we went to the West side and saw all the sulfur pools (very smelly) and saw Old Faithful which you can watch the video. It is funny though Nick compare Old Faithful to going to see a movie, everyone got the seats for it was supposed to go off at 4:17 and it did roughly, but then everyone goes running for their cars and tries to leave before getting stuck in traffic.

We are now in Salt Lake City,Utah and will be seeing Joe and have him show us his town..blog soon.

Are you running with scissors again?
Have you seen the giant ball of string yet? Will the animal poop descriptions continue? I'm having way too much fun torturing the "housies" while you're gone. Hurry back and get your share! I need a "girlcall" from my daughter in law, to make sure she's in one piece. Don't run with the bulls. Love, mom

Two Thumbs up !!!!
Good Morning Kim & Nick, I know this missive finds you both having the time of your lives. Been there done that so I know firsthand the magnificent of this country and the many treasureĀ–troves of memories you will take away from your adventure. I have said a pray that the Good Lord will put a hedge of safety and security around you both as you travel. Also most important I hope you took an extra large bottle of Apple Cider Vinegar to ward off mosquitoes and take the sting out of sunburns. I will continue to check in and track your progress like a hurricane watcher as you take the country by storm. Love Ya Kids, Friend Always Uncle Richard
