The best zoo in the world!

We going to the zoo zoo zoo, do you want to come to to to? San Diego zoo has a great reputation and is one of the biggest attractions, other than Seaworld. We arrived at 10 and didn't leave till 3pm. It was so awesome. We saw a panda bear with its mum play fighting and wrestling!! Polar bears playing ball and swimming in an underwater tank. Koala bears sleeping and lots of cute mere cats watching everyone watching them!!

After the crowds at the zoo we decided to hire bikes in Balboa park, a large Spanish style park next to the zoo. We hired a fun double bike as we were doing the touristy thing. It was great until we went down a very big hill and with the bike having no gears we couldn't make it up the other side. We ended up pushing the bike up the hill laugh at our mistake the whole way!!

After a quick change and jobs of laundry and blogging were done we headed into the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego. It is a very lively and vibrant place and we were spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars. We went for a Mexican style place which had good food and even better beer after a long day. As we ate outside we couldn't help notice the crowds of people going in and out of an ice cream parlour over the road. Even the waiter highly recommended it so that's where we headed next. As we don't do anything in halves we both ordered two huge deserts and then attempted to demolish them. We only just failed to finish, but then had to go home as we both felt so full!!
