Soooo I'm thinking it may have been not the wisest idea to go away again so very soon after being away for so very long. Whilst here is amazing, I kinda just wanna be back home... Lame I know, but I can't help it, I had a tantalising brief moment of home and then went again...

I have been rather enjoying the Italian male idea of fashion. The all dress in a way that, were we in England, they would be rampant homosexuals. There are guys here who even shave their legs. All perfectly straight guys, I might add, the strict catholocism and small village setting make it somewhat of a no-no to be gay. Yet for some reason, they all dress like it. Why? Pass. Ideas on a postcard.

I feel rather like Cindarella here. I spend pretty much every day cleaning. Not only cleaning, but cleaning a house that in my humble opinion doesn't really need cleaning in the first place! Taking house proud to new dimentions here I feel. It is a very nice house, but I feel like I can't touch anything, in case I make it dirty. Although seeing as I'll be the one cleaning it anyway what does it matter?

Last night we had a big pizza pool party because Nicole (the daughter of the couple I'm staying with) and Tom (her boyfriend) went home today. I was given the choice "Either you get drunk, or we throw you in the swimming pool fully clothed". Later they tried to also make it that "You smoke a spliff or get thrown in the pool." (I have been offered more spliffs this week than I can count, and they never just accept my first no, I have to keep saying it untill I eventually get so annoyed that I leave) I have never understood why everyone always has this obsession with getting me drunk and/or stoned. According to Nicole it's because I'm so straightlaced. To be honest I don't think it's very respectful of my beliefs, I don't care that you guys do it, so why can't you guys not care that I don't do it? It's not fair that they manage to make me feel like i'm not worth spending time with because I'm not loud, outgoing, drunk or stoned. I'm perfectly happy being boring, quiet and straightlaced, and my friends seem to be happy with it too. Oh well. I managed to avoid getting thrown in the pool, stoned or (very) drunk. Although it did not necessarily make for the most enjoyable party for me, as I was basically avoiding people in case they decided to chuck me in the pool or force feed me drugs and alcohol. It was however very cool watching the guys make pizza in the big wood bruning oven with the big long sticks. And having one or two drinks did make me speak rather a lot more Italian.

Oooh earlier yesterday Nicole and I managed to put together a flat packed table tennis table. We were very proud of ourselves, and decided that the Spice Girls would be proud of us too. Girl power.

I am learning to cook lots of things too. Mummy will be proud.

Anything but...
Soph, you are anything but boring, quiet, and straightlaced, and we love you for it! You're way more fun as you are, and quite frankly, you'd be pretty scary stoned! Thanks for being you :D God bless, Lucy xxx
