I would walk 500 miles and 500 more just to be the one to walk 1000 mi and fall down in bed

So I don think I have ever been so tired in my entire l life. I got an amazing workout today. When I left the hostel at 9 this morning I climbed to the highest point in Barcelona which has a huge cathedral call the Tibidabo. It was beautiful. Well what started as a beautiful sunny day ended up being not so beautiful. When I came out of the cathedral I walked into clouds and I figured they were just lowering but when I got to the bottom of the hill the weather was the same, cold, overcast. I did not let it get me down however. I continued to walk around the city. I went to the beach, although the weather was crap. I sat there for a while until I was approached by an Italian dude wanting to buy my a drink, but I gracefully declined and bee lined it out of there. I walked over to the aqaurium to see if it would be worth checking out tomorrow. It does but itś kind of expensive. So weĺl see. I having an amazing time but I have not really met anyone since being in Barcelona. I don know if it is because I am putting off some weird leave me alone vibe or whether I am just unsure of who or who not to talk to. I am craving some interaction with people that speak my language. Is that bad? Maybe I am still getting over my culture shock or something. I feel very secluded here. I ready to move on thatś for sure. Tomorrow I may treat myself to a sidewalk cafe with the menu of the day and sangria ever flowing. Today I walked around looking for the best deal and I believe I found it. A two course meal with bread, drink, and dessert for only 10 euro. That seems to be the cheapest I have found. I stopped at a tapas place this afternoon and had a piece of spanish omlette, chicken courquette, and a rice and tuna salad. The first two were pretty good, but I was not fond of the salad. I sure you can understand why. I stumbled on a really cool department store, but of course I couldn afford anything in there. But it had seven floors and all the floors had a different theme. Sports, books, cd, womens clothes, mens clothes. Just like Macyś or something. It was pretty cool. I think tomorrow I might do some souvenir shopping because I have not bought anything yet and the money is burning a hole in my pocket. Well not too much, but something little. Meanwhile, Since it is early I am going to go take a shower and nap and when I wake up, maybe I will head back into town and check out the night life, there are a whole bunch of Irish guys in town hanging out at the Irish Tavern on Las Rambla, maybe I will go hang out with them. :0) I will write more when I arrive in Nice on Wednesday. Ciao!

You have done more in two weeks, than I have done all year! The alone might be culture shock, or a somewhat guarded nature, being a first timer there and all, but you'll be fine. Go hang out with Irish guys, we both saw PS I love You, and you know how that turned out! Joking...I am cleaning today, trying to get over being sick, but it just won't go away, so a trip to the doctor may be in order. Oh yeah, Katie hid some of your under-garments, and she has since dug them out of the "bat cave", and now sleeps with them, I don't have the heart to take them away from her. We miss you, and we are so proud of you!
