Brown eyed blondes.
This adorable little guy is too cute not to introduce to everyone, so here he is! Dowgie, pronounced DOE GEE, is friends with everyone in Cedar Fort, and best friends with those who carry apples in their pockets...just in case! Cedar Fort is one of the smallest towns in Utah, where everyone knows everyone else and all pets wander in and out of each others large, expansive yards. Friends live here and I've been visiting this tiny town in western Utah County for many years. While pet mule deer are not rare, one this size is.

His mossy antlers are just poking through and his fur is soft and thick with an occasional burr picked up from one of his many treks through the mountain in his backyard. He's quite friendly and will play with anyone willing to spend time with him.

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Dowgie is adorable
Debbie, your interaction with Dowgie is exactly what I love in life; seeing the beauty of nature, and the wonderment of Mother Nature's creatures. The pictures make me think of so many vignettes, both past and future!
