one more day

well, only one more day here, I have dropped off my laundry, so I don't even have to do it!! How sweet! I only dropped off the darks though....I can't risk the only white tank top I have!! My plane leaves Bali for Kuala Lumpur tomorrow afternoon. I have one night there and hope to squeeze in as much as I can in the short time I am there. My main goal is to get to the twin towers there. You may have seen them on the amazing race.....also, there is an amazing race ASIA and the prize is $100,000 american....how not fair is that!! On the amazing race asia they go almost everywhere I do...so cool!! Yesterday we went to a resort at Ubud...the rooms range from $700 american to $4000 american per night!! If you want to google it is called the Amandari. I don't understand how that can be? I thought I had the sweetest hotel in town for $15 per night!!! he he. Bali is much like Mexico, poor and cheap. The locals are so friendly though, and there is literally no crime here. The beach and streets are packed every night with people. Tonight I am going to watch the sunset at The Four Seasons at Jimbaran Bay. A 30 min taxi ride to the north. (probably about $30,000 rupiahs which equals approx $2 canadian dollars). I really wish I could post some pictures but the internet is so slow and the computers are so old, the moniter is like 8 in....I feel like I am back in elementary school with this old thing and this tiny desk....they don't even have cd drives, only the old 3 in floppy....

And I thought Cuba was bad for the slow internet....Sounds like you are doing things that you enjoy doing. I so can't wait to see all your pictures!!! Cross your fingers for the Oilers tonite....they need it!
