Singapore city
Hello From Singapore!

This was the fastest stop so far. Corey and I arrived in Singapore at 1:30am and decided that we would sleep in the airport insted of looking for a place to sleep in the city. We found the most comfortable chairs and crashed. We were woken up by some guy that made us move all our stuff off the rug so he could vacume at 3!??? What the ..nevermind. He turned out to just sweep the floor and accomlish nothing. At 8 we hit the MRT and checked in at the YMCA. We walked down to the waterfront and checked out the escalanda theater and statue. From there we headed over to a small island off the south east coast and caught a cable car over. Ride was sweet and super high. We could see a large part of the city and the ginormouse container port. We went to a underwater exibit and saw tiger sharks and well who really wants to hear about fish when you see a 3 meter tiger shark. It was a walk through tunnel, so the view was awsome. Off to a dolphin show and we were outta there!

We got on

I like the shape
the MRT and went to the opposite side of the city. We navigated our way to the Singapore Space Center and caught an IMAX about the ocean. The theater was 5 stories hight anf the view was basically 360! Leaving there we checked out many archetectural marvals in awwww. Back the the Y to eat and change and we were off to china town to check out the festivities!

China town was packed. Wall to wall wiht ppl buying banners, candies, calanders and drinking fresh coconut juice from the nut! It was amazing to be packed in this small road with half the population of Singapore. No hassels to buy crap, just authentic culture. The lights were beautiful along with the decorations. Back the the hotel for some shut eye around 12:30.

Up at 8, breakfast, and the mall for a cd case for Corey. Were were on a bus at 3:30 and heading to KL. We must have covered 100km, half of it walking. With sore feet and happy memories we sat in our a/ced bus ready to tackel another large city!!

Take care
All my love
