Day 10 - the High Line

Today was our first day with Francesca. This was her first time in America ever. We woke up and had breakfast. I had a bowl of strawberries. After everyone had breakfast and got dressed, we walked to the train station and caught a train to 14 avenue and then walked to the High Line.

The High Line is a old train railway that was raised in the air. There are plants growing all around the rails and a path down the middle. After we walked through the whole railway. We were at the Hudson Yards. In the middle of the Hudson Yards there was a sculpture that were stairs that went up circling into the sky. We all went up to the top apart from Mike who is scared of heights. When we got to the top we waved down at Mike.

We then caught the train over to Grand Central Station, which had a very pretty blue roof with star signs on it. We said bye to Caroline at Grand Central Station because her cousin was coming over for dinner. We then walked to Times Square to show Francesca because it was her first time in New York. Dad, Mike and Francesca went to the Football in New Jersey. Mum, Bella and I went to the M&M shop and capezio which is a dance shop Bella likes.

When we got home we talked to Carolines cousin and her friend for a bit. Caroline made us spaghetti bolanase for dinner and then I had a nice bath and went to bed.
