Our friends were spending some time in Ronda, Spain and asked if we would be interested in joining, which we obviously were. We flew Geneva to Malaga, Spain. We then drove to Ronda to spend the week with Jo and Duv our friends from Kenya. Ronda is a village up in the mountains of Spain. Ronda is a beautiful village and we enjoyed walking around the old town and visiting the impressive "new bridge". We enjoyed spending time at the villa, swimming and relaxing by the pool. We loved the beach at Marbella (1 1/2hr drive from Ronda), by far one of our favourites in Europe. The people were so nice, everything was reasonably priced and the beach wasn't as crowded as some of the European beaches we had been to. We also visited a few of the white villages in the mountains, Setenil de las Bodegas and Olvera. We had such a wonderful holiday, we didn't want to leave and we are wondering why we have not holidayed more in Spain.
