Hi travellers!

I am looking for suggestions for a possible itenerary of 5 weeks which could cover places in brazil-argentina-chile a nd peru.
I have done a bit of research and have formulated one. Pl put in your suggestions and help me plan the best itenarary.

Start from salvador ,brazil 2days- fly to rio,3 days( i think i can only do salvador or iguasa falls..which one should i go for?)
- fly to BA, 3 days
-fly to Usuaia, 2days
-bus to peunta arinas, 2 days-
-fly to santiago,3 days
-bus to peru,4 days-
-puno to cuzco on train 2 days
-the short inca trail trek,2 days ,
-machu pichu , 1 day
- bus Lima 3 days
-and if posssible arrange for a tour to amazonn in peru (fly back and forth from Lima).

I understand its too much to see in such a short time..but I am not sure whether I would be able to make it to SA ever again.

Pl. Enlighten me with your invaluable suggstions..looking forward to hearing from you all!!

Thanks

It sounds like a bit much to me. Spending 2-3 days in any one place is not uaually not enough time to get a taste of the city. Reply to this

you do not want to waist time on buses...may look a little cheaper...but thev time you need to recover and spend on anything else will kill you...you can do most of it on planes with the south American Airpass from Lan Chile....www.lan.com...trust me...a little more expensive...but a lot more efficient. Have fun! Peter Reply to this
