Looking to get some advice of where to eat and to stay in Cusco. Would love to get some personal recommendations based on experiences :)

Hi There

My girlfriend and I will be visting Cusco at the beginning of May and staying about 8 days. I'd really like to get some suggestions of places to eat and to stay based on personal experiences. Guidebooks can give me an idea, but I prefer to get the information from people who have been there 😊

In parallel, any places to avoid would also be great!

Thanks
Chris

The hostal I stayed in was ok but wouldn't really recommend it but as for food - Granja Heidi on Cuesta San Blas does amazing breakfasts, Jacks - also on Cuesta San Blas just down from Plaza San Blas does really amazing food although there is often a queue to get in. If you're English and missing home, you can't do better than the Real McCoys - they do full English breakfasts and yorkshire pudding (not together obviously). It isn't in the Lonely Planet but as far as I can remember it was on Plateros, just off the Plaza de Armas on the opposite corner to Cuesta San Blas. Have fun! Kat xx Reply to this
