Visa requirements
16 years ago, December 18th 2007 No: 1 Msg: #24399
I am an Aussie and my girl is from the US. I know that Paraguay,Brazil and now Bolivia require visa's. Does anyone know if there are any requirements in Ecuador, Peru, Chile or Argentina.
We have a one way into Quito, and a one way from B.A. to Melbourne.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as we are leaving in 3 weeks.

I have been doing similar research, and found that a Bolivian tourist visa can be obtained upon point of entry for $100US. You must show proof of flight itinerary, hotel reservation, yellow fever vaccination and financial solvency in order to get the visa, valid for 30 days. Chile, Peru and Argentina do not require visas for short stays. Buen viaje... Reply to this

I only know that US residents have to pay 100 US if they fly into Chile. Aussie have to pay also but less (don't know how much). But again, only by air, no problem entering by bus, car or whatever. Reply to this
