Help for accom
16 years ago, October 6th 2007 No: 1 Msg: #20534
Hey there, i have 3 months of adventure with a few relaxing moments thrown in preferrably in hammocks by the beach. I've been the CA before and loved being able to be spontaneous and ending up whereever depending on who i met or available transport.

Unfortunately being in costa rica/panama over christmas/new year i now realise from reading various forums that i need to be ORGANISED (not likely) :-) and book accom. I am struggling with this and was wondering if anyone could help. I'll be in Puerto V costa rica for christmas planning to travel to bocas from the 27th to the 2nd jan.

Bocas is the main place i'm worried about for new year. I've emailed a few hotels which are either quite expensive or full. Does anyone have any suggestions on hostels/hotels/homestays/hammocks!! with availability or places that maybe can't be found on the internet, i'd be quite happy to give them a phone.

If not then where to go for new year thats not going to be manic.............thats a silly question really considering the country and time of year!!! :-)

Thank you in advance Reply to this

Earlier this year my family and I were several days in Bocas del Toro, where we enjoyed our stay at the "Hotel del Parque". Details and photos of our stay at that hotel are in the "Panama" section of Our Travel Journals website:
