hey - have just finished the Inca Trail and we went with Peru Treks. I could not fault them they wee great. They are known for looking after thier porters very well and also do alot of work in the community. check out their wbsite at http://www.perutreks.com/

Howdy,

I did it with SAS who are based in Cusco - absolutely fantastic. Great food, great guides (one of whom is an ex-porter himself) and the best equipment I saw on the trail.

While you are in Cusco I recommend staying in Los Ninos hotel and supporting the underprivaleged kids in the community. We spent two weeks there and had a great time. Ask for an apartment with kitchen if you stay any length of time (they are cheaper than the hotel rooms).
