I can help you with the New Zealand part.
I work for a company called Hiking New Zealand, check www.HikingNewZealand.com.
I would of course recommend some hiking holidays and we have trips from 2 days through to 19 days around NZ.

Hi Loz Suze & richsane - if you give an indication of what you're interested in it would be easier to suggest things. Are you into outdoor/adrenaline activities, sitting on the beach, gallery/museums? What month and how long are you going for? Reply to this

ok wel were going to aussie in end of feb for about a month then on to fiji? not sure how long to stay there. Then nz (around april)? were into outdoor culture go do stuff lazy about. Anything of interest. We do want to sky dive in Australia tho but i recon thats as much adrenaline we want to get out (or can afford) by the sounds of it. Reply to this

It'd be autumn then, maybe not beach weather. Perhaps have a look at my blog photos (South Island and Bay of Islands). Those places and Auckland I can answer questions on if you have any. I've added a few random links which will hopefully give you a few ideas.

Loz Suze,
What you might like to do is to land in Sydney, then make your way slowly over the inland via rail over to Melbourne. Many quaint small towns to visit, excellent hospitality and cheap too. Plenty of camp sites/caravan parks. Reply to this
