I thought I was a travel freak untill I read of some new development involving visa and passport sevrivce auction. But I am full of question and would like to know what others think.
I stumbled on travelblog today and after reading some threads decided to ask a question bugging me since yesterday so specialists here can shed some light.
I am pleased though that the travel industry is changing but this change is more obvious in the developed world. I do travel a lot but the preparation for every new trip causes me so much stress just because I live in a third world country somewhere in the dark heart of Africa. I have found my self waiting to get a visa interview for months at the British embassy. I have been insulted many times by some rude staff at the Italian embassy before I was granted a visa. You can see how hard it is for people like.
Suddenly, actually yesterday, I got a strange piece of news from one of the community newsletters I subscribed to.
I was informed that there is a new visa and passport auction website called http://www.fimyvisa.com where I can get Travel Visa Service providers to help me when applying to these embassies. Although when I visited the site they were yet to formally start BUT my question is if such a process is legal.
The idea sounded very interesting and looks like something that could ease my worries. From what I gathered from that site, I can announce that I need a letter of invitation or help with dealing with expediting my visa and I will get bids from service providers just like an auction. Then I thought to myself, is this a permissble process?
I would appreciate further insight into this by those of you who know the law so I can feel relaxed. Kindly look at http://www.fimyvisa.com and advise.
Good to be here.
