I want to get a single flight from London to Peru. I am told I must purchase a return .. anyway around this?
I am from New Zealand and am on a bit of a world tour. I want to go to Peru next and from there travel around South America. I dont have plans beyond that. I may return to NZ or go on to another country.
I want to get a single ticket to Lima, Peru but I think that might cause me problems. I imagine lots of people are like me and have a fairly loose agenda. Has anyone got around this problem? What works?
Thanks in advance.
David
Reply to this In 1998 I had a trip to Santiago, Chile, and return to Europe from Rio, Brazil. We had no problems along the way - in Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. I think that only problem is arriving to some country without any other ticket to present when being asked.
I know that you like to be free, but best thing is to decide about some final date when and where from you want to leave SA. Buy it, later you can change it. But it usually costs. Other thing is to check with the airlines about their experiences with travelers. Or ask your diplomatic representatives.
Reply to this Hi I booked a single from the UK to Lima last week from December 2007 with KLM via Amsterdam. I had no problem doing it. I also booked a single back from Sao Paulo again with KLM as it worked out better than trying to get a return.
