Any recommended tour companies?

Will be travelling to Peru in August. Any recommendations regarding good tour companies that begin their tours in Cuzco? We'd like to spend a few days in Cuzco before we start touring and most companies seem to start at the airport. Reply to this

Definately!
I did a tour with Chimu adventures (www.chimuadventures.com) they were the best value tours I could find, and didnt have any issues whatsoever.
They do an independent Inca trail tour which starts in Cusco city (they will pick you up from your hotel) or they can do the whole lot for you there...
Definately book with them!! - The are an Aussie tour operator but sell worldwide..
Hope this helps!!
Cheers

You can also contact the person who organized my whole trip around Peru, he is very nice and works with great (affordable) tour companies. He is also based in Cusco so it will be easier for you to arrange details directly with him. In case you are willing to do the Inka trail, you should be booking your spot NOW, for high season as it is in August it tends to be fully book by this time of the year. His name is Percy Chacon and his company is: www.epuertotravelperu.com

Good luck and I hope you will have a wonderful time in Peru!!!

Cheers,

Peruvian Tours (www.peruvian-tours.com)
My group visited Peru through this travel agency (www.peruvian-tours.com) Feb 11-07. We had a great time, and our trip only got better as the days went on. I would like to make note of things that I found to be exceptional: The Nazca Tour with Brady The La Gruta Hostal The Cusco City Tour and Sacred Valley Tour with Freddy The Inca Trail and Machu Picchu Tour with Diego Everything we experienced was outstanding. Ans peruvian people is very kind and friendly willing always to help, " I REALLY RECOMMEND VISITING PERU"
