Venezuela to Bolivia or just Venezuela

I have three weeks to spend in Venezuela (1st week in June to the last week in June) and would like some feedback...

The only thing I am committed to do in Venezuela is the Dancing with Devils ( June 6-7) in Chuao and the Afro-Venezuela San Juan festival at the end of June. I am most interested in the socio-political aspects of South America but since time and funds are limited, I thought I would asked - has anyone done the Caracas to La Paz trip cheaply?
If yes, can you tell me how to go about getting to La Paz from Venezuela and how much one should expect to pay by bus or by air? What carrier did you use? If by bus, how long did it take to get there?

Also, do you think angel falls is worth the trouble and money?

What city or event is a must see in Venezuela or Bolivia?
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!!!
