My wife and I are traveling to Peru this fall.
This will be are first time traveling here and would like to hear from people who have visited this area. We are taking a Nine day tour that includes Lima, Cuzco The Sacred Valley and the Nazca Lines. Any and all tips will be appreciated.
Reply to this Lima can be covered quickly. It has a few things worthy of checking out but better to move on and see other things. I hate that you are missing Puno and the Lake Titicaca area.
We loved all of Peru. The locations you are going to are fabulous.
The Nazca Lines are wonderful. Have you read the book Chariot of the Gods? If not, try to find a copy. It is great and gives you the back story of the area.
You will love every moment of this trip.
Wish you could stay longer and go to Arequipa and to see the Condors fly in Colca Canyon.
Puno and Lake Titicaca are wonderful.
