Hello I should extend my trip to Kakadu and choose between \"Arnhem Land (Mikinj Valley)\" or \"Jim Jim and Twin Falls\". Which of the 2 destinations would you suggest?
Regards

I cannot comment on Arnhem Land, but Twin Falls is one of my favourite places on earth. If you can handle the rough roads, it is like stepping back in time - simply magical. I went there in 1989, and to reach Twin Falls, I needed to swim about a kilometre up the river to reach the location. Sitting on the sandy beach adjacent to the towering falls is something very special. Jim Jim by comparison was not as impressive, mainly because I didn't get that close to it. It's best to take a four wheel-drive into the area, so unless you are used to driving in those conditions, you can take a one day tour - they are easy to organise once you arrive in the area.

Hope this helps. Reply to this
