Hi, I'm trying to plan my first trip to Australia for next August. I'm thinking of this itinerary: Sidney (5 days), flight to Melbourne (2 days), rent a car to go to Adelaide (2 days) then Kangaroo Island (3 days), flight to Alice Springs (tour of Outback for 4 days) then flight to Coral Reef (Heron Island for 5 days).
What do you think about the places and days for each stop? Any suggestions, please?
Thank a lot!

Place to visit in Sydney:

- City Walk: around Rocks area, QVB, Darling Harbour & China Town (1/2 ~ 1 D)
- Manly Beach(1/2)
- Bondi Beach
- Olympic Park
- one day tour to Hunter Valley for wine tasting, etc......
- one or 2 days to blue mountain

BTW, for Kangaroo Island, pls take flight by all means. I had a terrible sea-sick experience taking the ferry there. Reply to this

Hi everyone,

I just want to say that I found this cool holiday planning interactive map on www.mapmyadventure.com which allows you to plan every aspect of your holiday. I recommend you go check this out as it is very popular and helpful. Also go to www.statravel.co.uk for great hotel deals. Good luck. Reply to this

I ran across it the other day when I was searching for videos on Northern Territory, there are hundreds and hundreds of places where you can download video for, lots of places don't have video but they all have good images anyway.
