5-7 Day Hike Around Cordillera Blanca

Hi,

My girlfirend and I are planning on spending two weeks of our six in peru, in the Huraz area in feb 2007 with the intention of doing a week long hike around the Cordillera Blanca range. Having looked at the Rough Guide (don't have LP yet), it advises the Llanganuco to Santa Cruz Loop taking around 5 days. I am keen to get some info from anyone who has hiked this route or anyone who could recommend a good route at intermediate level lasting around a week in this area..?

Any advice would be great.
