I am planning to drive through Europe - France being port of entry, I will get the Schengen visa as I am travelling through only Schengen states. Can anyone advise me if I can drive through on this visa also if I am entering in France and once my visa is stamped am I able to freely go through the countries within Schengen without extra visa's etc..
Please help.

Reply to this Pretty sure you will have no worries.. For three months anyway as that is how long the visa lasts.. just the same as backpacking but with a car. Just make sure your under the three months in the Schengen zone and your fine.
Have a good trip

Reply to this Agree, you will be fine - as long as you don't pass the three month limit. I picked up a car in Spain, and drove through to Portugal, along the coast via Gibraltar and eventually to Andorra - and returned to Spain on three occasions - no problems whatsoever. The only passport check I had was upon entering Gibraltar.
