My sister and I are looking for an authentic jungle experience in/around Leticia - all I can seem to find on the web in general are posts and blogs from people who have been ripped off or haven\'t thoroughly enjoyed their \'jungle trips\'.
Can anyone recommend a good company/guide that does informative and fairly priced 3 to 4 days trips into the jungle?
Or perhaps Iquitos is a better bet? Anyone had great jungle experiences in Iquitos?

Reply to this We haven't had a jungle experience near Iquitos yet but are planning to in March 2011. I've spent hours on the various web sites and decided to take a 4 day 3 night cruise on the Delfin I plus a 3 day 2 night in the jungle staying at the Ceiba Tops.

I have found a highly recommend private guide in Iquitos who can tailor make jungle trips to suit your needs - he has some great references and is really cheap compared to everyone else - if you haven't booked already send me a private message and i'll send you his email address.
Also, I have found some really awesome looking trips with another company (more on the rough side, camping etc)
