How to plan a vacation in London, with a limited amount in hand, which can either be used to lodge, or spent on food, transportation attractions etc. Its hotels cost a fortune!

Well there some place around Piccadily which beside being great or cheap and the location is amazing.

For hostel you can try Piccadily Backpackers...for hotel...I can't remember the name, but I know there is two who are alright on the same street of the hostel. Reply to this

How much are looking to pay for a night? Hostels are going to be chaper.. And in a dorm it can get very cheap but it all depends on what your after? Hostelworld.com had a listing a hostels in London, dont forget hostels offer double rooms also that may be cheaper than hotels. Reply to this

Hi John, I presume you're looking at Oxford circus due to it central location. It likely that you will use the tube (metro) a lot whilst there and therefore cheaper locations are viable due to the rapid journey times. Consider widening your net and you will find hostels from £6-7 per night (approx. $10)
