Help with South American Backpacking Itinerary!

I'm from the US, currently living and teaching in Santiago, Chile. I'm planning on traveling (flying down) to the South of Chile, and then heading up the Argentinian Coast, up to BA, into Iguazu Falls, and then I want to do the Death Road in Bolivia and MP in Peru, returning to Santiago through the North of Chile. I would love some help/advice if anyone has done this before! Thanks!

I'm from the US, currently living and teaching in Santiago, Chile. I'm planning on going down South to Punta Arenas on the 1st of February, checking out Chilean Patagonia and then going into Argentina, heading up the coast into BA. The only things on my list of Definite To-Dos are: BA, Iguazu Falls, La Paz/Death Road in Bolivia, MP in Peru, and then the North of Chile heading back into Santiago. I would prefer to do all of this in 2 months, am OK with long buses but can afford a couple of cheap flights in between. If anyone has done anything similar to this, any help would be greatly appreciated. Buses to look into, how long it would take to get up the coast of Argentina and through Bolivia and Peru.

Thanks in advance for all the help!!! Reply to this
