Can anyone tell us what the cheapest way to get up to machu pichu is??? we are nearing the end of our travels and are running out of money. What is the approx. cost of going to see it per person??? any info would be appriciated.

If you're going from Cusco the easiest way would be by train. You'd need to (or would be better to) stay overnight in Aguas Caliente, then get the first bus up to MP - about a 20 minute bus ride. Walking back down is easy enough.
