I was wondering if somebody knows how are the Galapagos islands in November - high/low season, budget, weather. We are still deciding of going there, possibly around 10th of November, however everything abviously depends on the prices. Do you have any budget tips about the islands - how to make the best of it not spending a billion.

Don't know about November, but we have just came back from the Galapagos. You can find very good last minute deals that will cost you around 1500$ (including the flight to the islands from Ecuador mainland) for 8 days'p cruises and about 400$ less for 4 days cruises. The more you wait with your reservation for last minute the better chances you have to finding a low cost solution. If you have time, you can even try flying to the islands and booking the tour on the boats right there when you land, or in Porto Ayora, but then you have the risk of having to wait a day or two until a spot is available in a boat in the level you want and with the itinieary you want. Obviously, if you are looking for the most luxuirous boats, you have to book ahead and the prices will be much higher than the above. Reply to this
