I am a 24 year old Canadian female who is planning to go to South America in May. I have travelled alone many times in Central America but have never been to South America. I am most likely flying into Lima and could be travelling for up to a year. I dont have any for sure plans about where I will be going. If anyone has any advice, safety tips, feedback or general information on costs of hostels/cheap hotels, transportation, food (and availabilty of vegetarian food) or wants to meet up and travel for a bit or has info on highlights and must see places that would be great Reply to this

We had an amazing time travelling from Colombia down to the bottom of Argentina and then back up to Rio.
