Montezuma, Costa Rica: surfboards?

are there surfboards for hire here or in surrounding areas?

Hey,

I'll be traveling to Costa Rica in a few weeks and we will be in Montezuma. I've read that Playa Grande, north of Montezuma has great surfing, but are there board rentals/hires either in Montezuma or Playa Grande?

You will be able to rent a board in Montezuma. It is a small but pretty complete town. There are many shops on the main street. For whatever reason you cannot secure a board there, Mal Pais has a couple of surf shops and is about 20 minute drive from Montezuma. Reply to this
