Suggestion needed as to car or van.
We would like to spend two months seeing NZ and we are a loss as to how to travel without a huge cost. Suggestions as to whether to rent a car or campvan, or ????? Any and all experiences will be of great help to us.....THANKS!!!
Reply to this I definitely reccomend the campervan. There are an incredible number of them on the roads of NZ so it's well set up to accomodate them. It will be much less stressful than trying to plan ahead your accomodation or find it at the last minute. We campervanned for 2 weeks and only stayed at a camp site every couple of days so we could use the showers. It also makes it easier to save money on food because you have your own kitchenette where you know you can always cook your own food and store things. For a two month trip it will also be easier to have all your stuff in the campervan rather than having to keep packing and unpacking every few days when you move on.
