Questions on rafting in Guatemala...looking for suggestions for rafting companies/groups, best rates, and best time to go rafting.

I am returning to Guate for a 5-day excursion in either late May or early July. Has anyone gone whitewater rafting in Guatemala? If so, I am open to suggestions for rafting companies, average rates, best time of the year to go, and best region to hit the waters. Thanks!

I would check out a very highly regarded company in Guate called Maya Expeditions.
It's actually my step mother's company. She has over 20 years experience in Guatemala. She is basically a "chapin" herself. She and her guides know the country like the back of their hands.
