Off the Beatin path in Ecuador

There is a wonderful hosteria in Ecuador about 45 minutes south of Quito called Hosteria Papagayo. They offer mountain climbing tours of the surrounding volcanoes, mountain biking, horseback riding, and other local tours.
Papagayo is a great place to relax in the countryside on a beautifully restored 150 year old farm. Hot showers, free internet, a wonderful log cabin disco, and good food are all minor perks compared to the atmosphere at Papagayo.
