Hi all

Travelling to Oz in June with my girlfriend for the first time going to be there for 2months, so was looking into applying for the short stay tourist ETA visa, when i googled it the offical site charges £20 while other websites advertised are charging £7.

Just wondering if these websites are safe and secure and if anyone has used them.

Thanks Reply to this

Hi Tom,
The ETA from the www.immi.gov.au (official) website is AUS $20 (£10 approx), if you are applying from inside the UK and are looking at other websites they may be quoting you in pounds sterling, so it's probably worth checking that.
Either way my advice would be go through the official website, it's a very simple process.
I have got my ETA from a travel agent before, and also through immi.gov.au, and never had a problem with either, but in the highly unlikely event of a problem, it's probably best (especially as you are only talking about a difference of £3), to go to the immi.gov.au website.
