Tierra del Fuego, Beagle Channel boat ride are likely already on your itinerary. I suggest you take a bus/boat to Punta Arenas from where you can visit Otway penguin colony. Then head for Puerto Natales to visit Torres del Paine NP. From there you can head for El Calafate and El Chalten to visit Perito Moreno Glacier and Glacier NP with Cerro Fitzroy (a lot of hiking there). Take another bus Peninsula Valdes to visit sea lions, sra wolves, more penguins, whales and sea birds. From there you can travel on bus towards Andes and Chilean Lake District. If you run out of time you can take an overnight bus to Santiago. You will get to see a lot of beautiful sites. Make sure you take photos and make notes or you will not be able to recall all you have seen. Your trip from Santiago sound also very full and interesting. I hope you can sleep well in high altitudes - you will be likely sleeping in altitude of well above 3,500 m quite a few nights ;-)! Reply to this

I can highly recommend El Calafate and El Chalten. Check the bus services as they do not run frequently. Happy travelling :-) Reply to this

You can get a very comfortable boat from Ushuaia or Puerto Arenas to Puerto Montt ,Chile, for around US$500.I didn't do this but have heard so many wonderful stories of this trip I wish I had and will definately do it next time I'm in this part of the world.I didn't do it becouse the Chaitan Volcano was errupting and I decided to spend my time trying to get to the area.I was stopped by police and turned around every way I tried.I then met some people I knew from Ushuaia and they told me you could see it from the boat clear as.
