fiji family hol shangri-la , meal pack or pay-as-you-go?

Family of 10, 11 yr old will probably book 10 days shangrila family room, only one we can find with room divider and not too expensive. Are there any other alternatives in Fiji hotels with dividers. budget about $5,000 with flights, food and accom.

I am exhausted trying to find out these two simple answers
1. We want a room that has dividers so we can stay up and watch TV or just to get some privacy from our children. Initially wanted to go to Outrigger but the only solution was a family bure or 1 bedroom suite approx $1-2K more than our budget. Seems shangri-la family room, though taking us to $6,000 is the solution.

any ideas greatfully received

2. Is it better to pay for full meal pack before we go or pay for meals each day. Our children eat free anyway.

I will be thrilled if there is anyone out there who can help
