Hi everyone! Next year my boyfriend and I are planning on backpacking in Central America. I was wondering about how much money I would need to save to do it for about 6 months? It actually might be 6 months to a year but I wanted an estimate for at least 6 months. Any suggestions would be great help! Thanks!

could go lower but not much.
that is the backpackers backroad accomodations, minimal partying, and food.
lived and worked in costa rica, mexico, and belize. Good Luck and have a blast.

Reply to this us dollars. The monthly total could go down quite a bit if they stayed in one place for a month at a time. But then their entertainment side of things will rise a little bit.
