Can anyone recommend Apus Peru?

I have found a lot of references to the trekking company, Apus Peru, but there are very few reviews from anyone who has acutally used Apus Peru. Can anyone who has used them recommend them? Thanks.

Hi there. I, too, am traveling to Peru in August and plan to use Apus Peru for a 5 day trek to Macchu Pichu.
I've been having trouble accessing their website. Have you? I'm also interested to hear from anyone who has used Apus Peru. Reply to this

Their website was down for a day or so, but it is back up now. I found some people on the Thorntree forum (LonelyPlanet) who have used Apus Peru and highly recommend it.
Cheers!

Hello. My friend and I have booked our trek with Apus-Peru and to date have received great customer service via email. Have you decided who you will book with yet? When are you going? We are looking for people to join our trek to Macchu Pichu which leaves on Monday, August 10th. Come join us! Reply to this

I was just now able to access to the Apus Peru site, (guess it was down for a bit?) Hoping to book the Lares Trek 4 day hike for the last week of August (Inca Trail completely booked! but I was warned, I suppose). I am a bit skeptic as they're not at all listed among this list http://www.andeantravelweb.com/peru/companies/peru/recommended_peru_travel_agencies.html from andean travel (which has been very informative), but I like that they give back to the community--so fingers crossed that it all works out when I get there! Good luck Reply to this

I have had a very good experience working with Ariana from Apus Peru so far. She is very responsive, informative and flexible with our travel schedule. Our trek is in 3 weeks so we shall see how it goes. I'm sure Apus Peru will be great. Reply to this

Maybe they are using another company name. Reply to this
