Does anybody know a secluded beach-front Eco Lodge in COSTA RICA?

A few weeks ago I have found a link to an amazing eco lodge that was located about 100 feet into the rain forest off a secluded and beautiful beach. I now can't find it anymore and was hoping someone could refer a place like that.

I am also looking into beach huts at secluded beaches that are surrounded by a rich vegetation / rain forest. Can anybody help me out and provide me with some good tips / suggestions.

Thanks a ton in advance!! Reply to this

man, that is all of costa rica! I have been to the south point of the gunacosta pennesula, Mal Pise or so. then Jaco (which I really do not recomend). Try Manual Antonio in Quepos to south, a very very pretty area! My girlfriend would get a new hotel everynight just for the fun of it. it was the wet season so there was not many tourist there. I have heard that the Oso pennsula is primitive. If you are looking for privacy on beaches, you will find many along the south west coast. Costa Rica is my favorite country in the world!

Hi, I lived in Costa Rica for 8 years. Worked the travel industry there. The Osa peninsula is your best bet for what you describe. Just search around on the internet and see what you can find.
Osa is pristine primary rainforest, jungle, monkeys, colorful birds, beautiful beaches...Good luck Ann

Hi Christian,

Would definitely recommend Osa Peninsula as there is very little tourist and the rain forest is simply amazing!
Check out Pirate Cove near Drake Bay, really nice eco lodge and friendly staffs :-) Other cheaper options are available around too if you feel like spending some time (you could basically negociate on site when you take the one hour boat)
Have a look at my blog for more info on this area, cheers
