hey guys....
well...i m 2 weeks away from leaving for my 6 months 'vacation' around Peru, Bolivia and possibly (but now most unlikely) Ecuador... Today i ve only got $1200 for £910...i have a further £1000 BUT considering the oh-so-poo! exchange rate i am getting rather worried!!! Will i have enough for the full 6 months? it would work out as about $14 a day..Now i m very low maintainance and i do intend to diy most treks which should be many...take public buses.. eat local...etc.
What do you guys think?

That is a rather tight budget. I havent been in S. America for a while, so dont know what the cheapest rooms cost these days. Hopefully somebody else reading this who has been there recently will give the prices of cheap rooms, bus journeys etc so you can see if you budget is enough.
