Hey!
I'm going to Cuba at the end of March and I'm looking for a guide. I was going to invest in the Lonely Planet but it was last edited in 2006, which I think is a bit old!
I saw this one on Amazon : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cuba-AA-Essential-Spiral-Guides/dp/074955357X/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1232724218&sr=8-4
Has anyone here used it and could let me know what they think of it?
Any recommendation on the guide I should buy will be very welcome.
Cheers!
Mailys
Reply to this I have the "Cruising guide to cuba by Simon Charles. You don't say whether your going by boat or by air.
Be careful there, lot of problems now days, getting worse from what our friends told us.
Reply to this Hello Mailys 😊
I think the Lonely Planet guides for the various countries give a good account of safety, customs etc issues.

Reply to this Thx a lot for your advice. I usually tend to trust the Lonely Planet guides too. In this case I was a bit disappointed seeing that the last edition dated back to 2006... Do you have it? Do you think it's still up to date?
Reply to this I dont have the 2006 one because I was in Cuba 7 years ago.
