My husband and I are going to Italy for business at the end of February. We will be flying into Milan and plan to spend 4 days there, then we plan to drive to Treviso (where we have work) and then go to Venice for 2 days. We return to Milan then.
We are pretty flexible the first four days with not just staying in Milan. I would really appreciate any advice, or ideas on how we could spend this time there. Is there something else we could do in around the area. We don't mind taking buses and trains either but we will have a car.
Treviso seems like a nice little town as well so we will definitely check the city out in the evening.
I would appreciate some advice on accommodation, travel, restaurants, sight seeing. How is driving in Italy. I have a Canadian License or would I need any papers to drive there?
Thanks in advance.
Reply to this Milan is a beautiful place to visit. There are multiple places in Milan, where you can enjoy your time. Visit for more at http://www.triphobo.com/milan-italy
Reply to this Do you know if you will be in Venice for the carnival?
I'd highly recommend going to a ball and dressing up if you are. Costumes can be expensive be cheaper alternatives are available.
Reply to this In response to: Msg #60923 Hiya. I've been to Milan couple of times. There's definitely lots to do and see there. If you have the time go around the city. You'd be amazed by the beautiful places that are just few kilometers away from the city. Here's some suggestions <snip>
