Need to find the best way to get from one to the other. Flights? Bus routes? Etc...
We are coming up from Chile, and have figured out our general bus route idea to make it to Tacna, and then from Tacna to Cusco. From Cusco we want to head up North to Mancora, before returning to Lima for a few days and catching our flight back to Canada.
Any advice from people who have done it before?

star peru (does flights form cusco to lima for around 100 dollars give or take)
also as far as i understand you could go by bus via arequipa, nazca, ica, lima
then form lima one option is . lima - trujillo (8 hours) - cajamarca (7 hours) - chiclayo (7 hours) - mancora (5 hours)
lima-mancora direct is around 16 hours
advice
dont put your daybag in the overhead compartment. keep it on your lap.
some parts of lima are dodgy, miraflores area is quite safe though.
