Reply to this We just got back from a six month stint of living in Bondi outside of Sydney. Not single so have a different perspective, but there were tons of Backpacker travel stores all around Sydney and Bondi that worked like travel agents for you. I'd just hook up with one of them to make your plans, get the best deals and find good places to stay as you travel around. You'll never have a problem finding people to hang out with - the travel crowd is huge. Have fun!
