Chile to Argentina??

Hi ... I will be in South America in March and want to travel from Chile to Argentina (Santiago to bueno Areis) in the space of a month over land - Is this possible and are there any tips or routes ypu and suggfest?? Thanks

WE did a really nice bus trip from Santiago to Mendoza over the alps a very amazing engineering feat, fantastic road. there are lots of buses from Mendoza through to Buenos Aries that you could take slowly. Reply to this

I think we did it in about April, There was some snow on the Alps, but lots of ski lifts and things, it must be very popular with skiers during the winter. Reply to this
