Any advice on how to get from Brasil to Venezuela or Columbia. Border crossing seem remote from Bra to Col. In Venezuela is it feesible to come up from Brasil and get to Angel Falls?
Thanks!

Hi Pony

We went from Brasil (Manaus) by bus to Venezuela. It is a long trip and we did not get tickets for the direct bus - there was a direct bus from Manaus going to the Northwest coast of Venezuela. As we didn't get tickets for this bus, we had to change buses frequently and make our own way across the border by foot and taxi. The trip was ok and I would not hesitate to do it again. However, I think that the road is not always open between Brasil and Venezuela due to the weather.

We also continued from Venezuela to Colombia and again no problems with the trip.

Cheers Em&Frankie

Hey,
Thanks a million for that. Looks like we might take the direct bus to the northwest of Venezuela so. Any idea what the destination city was or how long it might take?
Also, any advice on the boat trip as far as Manaus (if that´s what you did!)? Prices, any good company, need to reserve cabin in advance?
Thanks very much!
