We're going to South America from July - December 2009 and quite fancy taking to the slopes whilst we're there.
Has anyone else been ski-ing in SA? If so, where are the best places to go? Is it easily accessible or would we need to book in advance?
Any other advice, stories, and the like gratefully received!

2 places I've heard are good for skiiing are Bariloche and Mendoza in Argentina. Haven't done it personally, but I understand that it can get busy in both resorts. Both are great cities to visit too. Enjoy.

If you need info, I did ski in Briloche...great beautiful place. You may need to book a flight and hotel in advance, it's all depend when you do stay.

Reply to this Def the best places, I would recommend you went end of august, beginning of sept when the prices are much cheaper and there's not so many ppl. I would go to Cerro Catedral in Bariloche or Las leñas in Mendoza
