is it possible to get a real life boat from Panama to the south pacific, australia, Africa, etc???
During my travels in central american last year I heard a few stories about travellers being able to hop aboard ships of all sizes in Panama and getting to the far corners of the globe. The stories I head involved travellers working in Panama for a few weeks to pay for their passage to a distant land. Anyone know anything? Has anyone done it or tried to do it? I want to get down there this coming year and try to get a ship out to the south pacific....
