TOKYO – A 43-year-old player in a virtual game world became so angry about her sudden divorce from her online husband that she logged on with his password and killed his digital persona, police said Thursday.

The woman, who has been jailed on suspicion of illegally accessing a computer and manipulating electronic data....

Bad online behaviour is usually handled within the rules set up by online worlds, which can ban miscreants or take away their virtual possessions.

In recent years, virtual lives have had consequences in the real world.

When bad deeds lead to criminal charges, prosecutors have found a real-world activity to cite - as in this case, in which the woman was charged with inappropriate computer access.

Another cyber criminal has been arrested. He broke Godwins Law :D

Krunoslav Borovec, a senior national police official, rejected criticism of the detention. Police acted legally, he said, because Klecak's group displayed a photo montage of Sanader in a Nazi uniform. Nazi symbols are banned under Croatian law.

Well, it does make sense since what is in the mind does manifest in actions. Hence the murder is justified for it can happen in real life if one is given a chance. WATCH OUT!!!
